Chicken Pepper Roast
Chicken pepper roast
Chicken pepper roast is easy to make dry dish. Adjust the spice to your taste.

Ingredients
Chicken : 1kg
Onion sliced : 4
Green chillies : 3-4
Ginger : 2” pc
Garlic :1 pod
Kashmiri chilli powder : ¾ tsp
Coriander powder : 1tbsp
Turmeric powder :1tsp
Garam masala :1tsp
Pepper powder : 2tbsp
Fennel seeds :1/2 tsp
Coconut oil :1tbsp
Curry leaves
Salt : to taste
Instructions
1.Cut the chicken in to small pieces. Wash it. Marinate the pieces in lemon juice or vinegar
- Heat the pan, add coconut oil. When oil become hot add fennel seeds, sliced onions, ginger garlic crushed. Let it sauté on medium heat until it turns brown colour.
- Add Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
4.Add chicken pieces, 1tbsp black pepper powder, salt and mix well. Cover it and cook. If there is water, allow it to evaporate in medium flame.
- Open the lid and add 1tbsp crushed black pepper, mix it, Dry roast the chicken for another 5-10 mins, add curry leaves, slit green chillies.
After it turns dark brown turn off the stove.
Serve hot with rice or roti
